Exploring perspectives of home health care workers on their training, intent to leave, and work experiences since the Covid-19 pandemic

We are asking you to participate in a research study. Please take your time to read the information below and feel free to ask any questions before agreeing to participate.
Purpose and Procedure:
We hope to explore the perspectives of home health care workers on their education, training, factors that impact intent to leave, and how the covid-19 pandemic has affected home health care workers. You will be asked to complete a 10 minute survey around these topics.
Who Can Participate:
We are looking for 1,500 home health care workers over the age of 18 in the US who work directly with patients
Benefits to Participants:
You may not directly benefit from this research; however, we hope that you may derive satisfaction from contributing to research on the perspectives home health care workers.
Risks to Participation:
We believe there are minimal risks associated with this research study; however, a risk of breach of confidentiality always exists and we have taken the steps to minimize this risk as outlined in a section below. The results of the surveys will not affect your job or job status. Not participating in this study will not affect your job or job status.
Your participation in this study will be completely confidential.
Alternatives to Participation:
Participation in this study is voluntary.
You may withdraw from study participation at any time or choose not to answer any questions without any penalty.
: The data obtained from this study will not be used for any type of evaluation related to your job or job status. To the best of our ability your answers in this study will remain confidential. We will minimize any risks by storing participants’ responses and any personal identifying information using random numbers. The data will be kept confidential and only viewed by researchers and assistants. All data is stored in a password protected electronic format. Individual responses will not be used or shared with anyone. After the study, all data will be stored physically in a locked file cabinet and/or a secure electronic file for five years per APA guidelines.
